Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players use this to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to fill in a gap. It's important to note that to select the pistols in this slot, click on the button to select the appropriate category, for example, alternate slot 2 machine guns. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are both active, making it simpler to use. This combo also adds an attack tick from the concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot is a great feature that lets players bring tools and weapons into the game, but could be improved. It's currently designed to resemble an a gun, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices and explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items can be found in hidden locations throughout the map. They can also be retrieved at anytime. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. These options for planning expand as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the ideal task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old ones are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players more inventory space to complete challenges missions. Since many of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the world, it may take some time to obtain the most inventory slots available in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk at the end of the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise cause suspicion. However, you can only hide one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To begin these missions just talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you've reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
